SISTERHOOD's
ANNUAL HAMANTASHEN BAKE
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
We are so excited to be back in person baking hamantaschen and are looking for volunteers on
Sunday, February 26
th
in the B’nai Israel kitchen. So, if you enjoy working with others and having fun, please consider joining us by signing up for one of the time slots listed.
Volunteers are needed for the following positions:
Dough Mavens:
One person will roll and cut the dough, and another will fill and pinch.
Oven minder:
responsible for all trays going in and out of the oven as well as keeping track of the number of trays of each flavor. A tally sheet will be provided.
Supply chain manager:
take empty trays back to the kitchen to clean, cool and return to the Dough Mavens as well as supplies teams with dough and filling. Please be advised the trays can get heavy.
Baggers:
will fill orders and place on appropriate table for pickup later in the day.
Clean-up Queen:
As baking winds down, trays, utensils and racks need to be washed and put away, the prep tables wiped down, and trash emptied. Clean up is never glamorous but whoever does it will be a queen to us.
