Kol Chadash - is a singing group for all ages with the purpose of providing harmonies to current and new melodies within selected B'nai Israel services. We learn to sing, read and experience Jewish music together during group rehearsals nearly all Sunday evening from 5-6:30 in the synagogue. Israeli Dancing - meets on Thursday and Sunday evenings weekly. Call the office for more information.
The Circle Minyan - Shabbat Mornings Alternative Minyan, providing learning and alternative prayer experiences. Meets First Shabbat Morning of each month in Classroom #3 at 10:00 am.
Play and Pray Havdalah - Meets periodically during winter months (Check calendar for dates). Playground areas are open on Shabbat afternoon with babysitting available. Shabbat discussion, Mincha and Maariv services along with Havdalah under the stars.
Torah on Tuesdays - A freewheeling discussion of the Book of Genesis. Every Tuesday at noon at Hillel with Rabbi Kaiman. Suspended in summer months - begins in September.
Adult Jewish Studies Institute - Our new program offering intensive short courses of Jewish interest taught by academic faculty at the Department of Jewish Studies at UF. Classes take place at B'nai Israel. Details available at the office.
